BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

MAKE SURE YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly advise you to purchase a travel insurance policy that covers you for cancellation of your tour. Irrespective of whether you have purchased travel insurance or not, our cancellation rules cannot be altered under any circumstances. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE!

PAYMENTS: For bookings made using a card that is different to the purchasing currency, your card will be charged the equivalent foreign currency amount as determined by the exchange rate applied by your card issuer. We reserve the right to vary prices in the event of fluctuations in exchange rates or price increases made by service providers.

DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT: As a minimum, a non-refundable deposit payment is due at the time of booking to reserve your place. Some packages require full payment at time of booking. Final payment is due no less than 60 days prior to tour commencement date. We reserve the right to cancel any booking that is not paid in full by this date.

CANCELLATION RULES & FEES: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing either directly to the Rhythm Travel Experience or through your Travel Agent. For cancellations made more than 60 days prior to tour commencement, 50% of the total tour cost will be forfeited or, if only the deposit has been paid, the full deposit amount will be forfeited. This cannot be credited towards another tour and cannot be transferred into the name of another person. For cancellations made 60 days or less prior to tour commencement the full amount paid will be forfeited. This cannot be refunded, nor can it be credited to any other booking or transferred into the name of another person.

There are no refunds once travel has commenced or for any unused services.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover items such as, but not limited to, cancellation of your tour or travels, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability.

PASSENGER NAMES: All passenger names must be listed in full at the time of booking and under no circumstances can they be transferred into another person's name. In the event of an individual/s within a group booking being unable to attend the tour/event, cancellation fees apply only to the individual/s who have withdrawn (calculated as the equivalent percentage of the total booking).

AMENDMENTS: Requests for amendments to an existing booking must be made in writing via email. Passengers wishing to transfer a booking to another cabin type or departure date must request it in writing not less than 60 days prior to tour commencement. For booking transfers made 60 days or less prior to the commencement of a tour, full tour cancellation fees apply. Bookings & payments cannot be transferred or credited to a separate event. An amendment or booking transfer is only valid upon receipt of written confirmation from Rhythm Travel Experience


ITINERARIES: We reserve the right to change itineraries and will advise before commencement of tour.

MINIMUM PASSENGER NUMBERS: Boats require a minimum of 10 passengers to run. In the unlikely event of the tour not reaching this minimum number the tour will be cancelled and your tour payment will be refunded in full. Rhythm Travel Experience are not liable for costs or cancellations relating to your onward travels if this minimum number is not achieved. In this event you will be notified by email not less than four weeks before the tour.

MEALS: Anyone requiring special meals such as vegetarian or gluten-free alternatives should email info@rhythmtravelexperience.com AT LEAST 28 days before your tour departure with details on your dietary needs.

NOT INCLUDED IN PACKAGE/TOUR: * Personal expenses (including but not limited to) - phone calls, beverages and laundry * Meals (unless specified) * Tourist taxes * National Park entrance fees * Travel insurance * Passport and visa fees * Airfares and applicable airport & government taxes * Excess baggage * Optional excursions * Transfers to/from the airport or train station (unless specified).

TOURIST TAXES / LOCAL PAYMENT: €10 per person per night is to be paid in cash on boarding the ship.

PASSPORT REGISTRATION: Passports for all passengers must be given to the captain for registration at the beginning of your tour.

HOLIDAY VARIATIONS & CONDITIONS: If a Force Majeure event occurs or following governmental travel advice, we may have to make necessary changes to your holiday and in accordance with operating requirements, we reserve the right to make changes, cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries. Should this become necessary we will give you reasonable notice thereof, in the circumstances and where available, offer you a comparable alternative. If you do not accept alternative arrangements we will refund all payments you have made to us, however, in case of Force Majeure or governmental travel advice any refund will be subject to deductions for any unrecoverable costs we incur. Rhythm Travel Experience is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by you including, without limitation, the costs of any other travel arrangements affected due to our amendments, cancellations or rescheduling of any tour as contemplated by this clause.

Force Majeure. Rhythm Travel Experience will not be liable for any delay in, change to or cancellation of trips due to Force Majeure. “Force Majeure” means any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Rhythm Travel Experience and includes, but is not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, cancellation of an event by the organisers, fires and strikes.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: The ship Captain reserves the right to change the route in case of bad weather conditions or other events outside of our control.

LIABILITY: Rhythm Travel Experience responsibility will be to ensure your tour arrangements are carried out to the best of our ability. However, we cannot accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of service providers, over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements.

We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

In particular, but without limitation to these conditions, we accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury you may suffer as a result of terrorism, war (including civil-war), threat of war, coup, riot, civil disturbance, crowd violence, closure of airports or ports, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, epidemic or health risk, Acts of God, adverse weather conditions or other similar events. It is your responsibility to inform yourself about the safety and security situation in the places you are travelling to.

ON BOARD SAFETY: Passengers must take care at all times, particularly during rough weather, when on board the ship or walking between the ship(s) and the mainland. The ship company will not be responsible for any accidents that may occur on board.

SHIP RULES: All passengers must abide by the ship rules displayed on board the ship. Rules covering such things as smoking, noise restrictions & curfews and bringing alcohol on board must be adhered to at all times.

TERMINATION OF TOUR: Guests must follow all ship rules especially with regard to not bringing any alcohol on board. Rhythm Travel Experience reserves the right to terminate the tour at any stage during for any customer who is behaving, in the sole opinion of the ship crew, inappropriately. No refund of any kind will be offered.

COMPLAINT PROCEDURES: In the unlikely event of any dissatisfaction with the accommodation or any other service provided by us, you must report it immediately to the ship crew so that the complaint can be logged and action can be taken to remedy the problem. Any complaint made to us after the holiday should be made in writing within 14 days of tour completion.
