Day 3 / Wednesday – Overnight Vis Island
Mamma Mia, here we go again – Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep made the famed Mamma Mia movie scenes in 2008 on island Vis, so today will be a nice treat for fans of the film. The Island was a former Yugoslav military Island until 1989, cut off from the rest of the country, with zero tourism. Its charm makes it one of our favourite islands amongst the 1000+ islands of Croatia. We will make a stop in the town of Komiza on Island Vis, allowing time for you to enjoy a relaxed lunch in town. After Komioza, we will continue onto the main Vis port for our overnight. The town of Vis has many great dinner options. Those wishing to go to Bisevo’s Blue Cave please let your guide know at the start of your trip, expect to pay €40-€70.
Day 4 / Thursday – Overnight Trogir Island
Enjoy a nice walk around Vis or take an easy 25 minute walk to the Fort of King George. After brunch this morning we anchor in a beautiful bay and have an opportunity to swim into a former Yugoslavia war submarine tunnel. Traditional lunch onboard served by our chef. This afternoon we swim at Island Ciovo enjoying our final swim of the trip. We will overnight in the centre of the tiny town of Trogir island – two bridges link Trogir to the mainland and onto Ciovo island. Trogir is a Renaissance, Romanesque Island with streets from the 13th-century. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence and the bell tower of St John will give you the perfect Instagram backdrop with which to make your friends envious.
